Aaron proposed August 16th, and we had planned a December wedding. His only brother was start his career in Japan mid-September, however, and wouldn't return for a year at least. It was very important to us to have him present, so we decided to marry before he left for Japan. Despite less than two weeks to plan our big day, the wedding went off even better than we had dreamed. Surrounded by family and friends, we were married at Genevieve's parent's home in rural Wisconsin. A big party followed, in the country cook-out tradition!
